Natalie Evans of Morgan County is the reigning 2024 Miss Illinois County Fair Queen. She currently attends Murray State University, where she majors in pre-veterinary medicine and minors in chemistry. It is her ultimate goal to attend Veterinary School at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and become a large animal doctor, focusing on beef cattle and swine. Natalie also aims to continue the tradition of her family's farm. Natalie was an 11-year East Side Juniors 4-H club member, where she participated in several projects such as sheep, swine, and beef. Natalie also served as a Director on the National Junior Red Angus Board of Directors from 2021-2023. Currently, Natalie is serving as an Agriculture Ambassador for Murray State where she travels to different high schools to advocate for Murray State's wonderful opportunities.
In her free time, Natalie enjoys showing cattle, volunteering and spending time with her friends and family.Natalie is excited to fulfill this role as an advocate for agriculture and become a role model for the youth. Over the years, Natalie has atteneded and shown her livestock at many county fairs and the State Fair. These experiences have allowed her to see how important these events are to Illinois and wants everyone to be able to experience the opportunities these fairs entail.
